🔵 Rangers will drop down to the UEFA Conference League Play-Off Round after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Jagiellonia Bialystok. Rangers went one up on the night through a Lawrence Shankland penalty, but the Poles equalised in the second half to go through on aggregate.
Derek McInnes’ side will now face Czech side Jablonec for a place in the Conference League group stage.
⚽ Hearts drew 1-1 at home to Benfica in Europa League qualification. The tie was already well over after the first leg, but the Jambos will take positives from the game.
Tomas Magnusson gave Hearts the lead in the 78th minute before Benfica levelled less than two minutes later. The Edinburgh club will now face Rapid Vienna in the Conference League Play-Off Round.
🟢 Hibernian will face Belgian side Gent in the Conference League Play-Off Round after drawing 0-0 in North Macedonia. The Hibees won 2-1 on aggregate. Gent beat Swedish side IFK Göteborg 2-0 on aggregate.
⚽ Motherwell comfortably beat HJK Helsinki 2-0 at Fir Park last night. The Steelmen will now play Europa League finalists SC Freiburg for a place in the Conference League group stage.
🟢 Celtic confirmed the signing of German midfielder Mika Baur from Paderborn. The 22-year-old has signed a four-year deal. - Celtic FC website
🔴 Aberdeen sold two players yesterday.
Scottish Cup-winning goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov has joined 2. Bundesliga side St Pauli for an undisclosed fee. The Bulgarian joined from St Johnstone in 2024 and went on to make 74 appearances. - Aberdeen FC website
Aberdeen also sold Icelandic midfielder Kjartan Már Kjartansson to Norwegian side SK Brann. The 20-year-old signed last summer but found his opportunities limited at the Dons. - Aberdeen FC website
