🏆 Rangers progressed to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League despite a 2-0 second leg defeat against Fenerbahçe. The tie was level at 3-3 on aggregate before Rangers won 3-2 on penalties. Jack Butland saved two penalties in the shootout.
They will now face Athletic Club with the first leg at Ibrox on Thursday 10th April and the second leg in Bilbao the following week.
Rangers have lost four consecutive games at Ibrox for the first time in history.
🆕 Bonnyrigg Rose have appointed club legend Jonny Stewart as their new manager. Stewart joins Bonnyrigg from Tranent FC, where he was previously manager.

🍻 Aberdeen Chief Executive Alan Burrows has called for the ‘alcohol ban’ in Scottish football to be lifted.
Burrows said: “We would welcome trialing the re-introduction of alcohol in some areas of the stadium and at certain games to demonstrate that it can be done safely and responsibly.”
“Lifting the ban would ensure fairness in relation to every other sport, and football fans should be treated fairly.”

The Aberdeen CEO’s comments echo similar statements from Dundee United owner Mark Ogren, who recently told The Courier he wants to see the sale of alcohol introduced to Scottish football grounds.

🚌 This weekend is the Scottish GroundHop Weekend. The annual event sees groundhoppers from all over the UK spend a weekend watching Scottish non-league football.
It all begins in Cumbernauld tonight and ends at Linton Hotspur on Sunday.
