🏆 Rangers beat Fenerbahçe 3-1 in Istanbul in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16. Cyriel Dessers and a double from Vaclav Cerny gave Barry Ferguson his first European win as interim manager. Dessers had the ball in the back of the net on two other occasions, but both were ruled out narrowly for offside. The second leg takes place at Ibrox next Thursday.

👎 Despite Rangers’ win last night, Scotland has officially lost the guaranteed Conference League Phase spot for the Scottish Cup winners.
The winners of this season’s Scottish Cup (or third place if Celtic wins the cup) will have guaranteed European league phase football next season, however, that will change for the following season.

🤕 Ben Doak has been ruled out of Scotland’s upcoming UEFA Nations League play-off games against Greece. The winger has undergone minor surgery and has returned to Liverpool for treatment.

💷 A new UEFA financial report featuring Celtic and Rangers has shown Scotland to have positive movement in several areas.
Celtic is in the top 10 in Europe for pre-tax profits and top 20 for merchandise sales, while Rangers is in the top 20 for matchday revenues.
