Random Scottish Football Fact #311:

WEEKEND ROUND-UP
➡️ WILLIAM HILL PREMIERSHIP
It was a dramatic fifth title in a row for Celtic on Saturday. Hearts had led the Premiership from September until the 87th minute of the final game, but it wasn’t to be for the Jambos. From purely a football perspective, Saturday gave fans with a vested interest all the emotions that football can deliver. Unfortunately, the scenes directly after Celtic’s third goal meant the focus shifted dramatically from the football to the disorder.
For Motherwell, it was a satisfying end to a memorable season as they secured European football.
Celtic 3-1 Heart of Midlothian
Falkirk 2-5 Rangers
Hibernian 0-1 Motherwell
Dundee 3-2 Aberdeen
Livingston 1-4 Kilmarnock
St Mirren 1-1 Dundee United

🔦 Friday evening’s North of Scotland Football League McLeman Cup Final between Buchanhaven Hearts and Bridge of Don Thistle at Cove Rangers’ Balmoral Stadium had to be abandoned during the penalty shootout after the floodlights went out.
Buchanhaven Hearts were 2-1 up on penalties, when the floodlights went off because of an automatic timer set for 9.50pm, just as Bridge of Don’s Brody Alberts was about to take his penalty. He still took it but missed. The referee then abandoned the game despite Buchanhaven wanting to continue. The game had kicked off at 8pm and the teams had kicked-off early. - The Press & Journal
