Edinburgh continue to close the gap on ninth-placed Stranraer after their 15-point deduction. It is now just six points. Clyde, Elgin, and Stranraer are still searching for their first win.

East Stirlingshire got their first win of the season in what was the weekend’s highest scoring game. They beat Gala Fairydean Rovers 6-3 away.
Bonnyrigg Rose beat Celtic B 5-1, Broxburn Athletic beat University of Stirling by the same score line, and Bo’ness United beat Albion Rovers 5-2.

Max Johnston made his debut for Derby County in their 2-2 draw away to Ipswich Town.
🏆 The draw for the Men’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup First Round was made last night. Notable ties include Auchinleck Talbot v Cumnock Juniors, Berwick Rangers v Nairn County, Clachnacuddin v Kilwinning Rangers, Forres Mechanics v Caledonian Braves, Jeanfield Swifts v Clydebank, and Lochee United v Brechin City.

🏥 The Wigtown & Bladnoch v Camelon Juniors Scottish Cup Second Preliminary Round match never kicked off after Camelon Juniors player Jason Walton collapsed during the warm-up.
