After beating East Kilbride 6-0 in the league, The Spartans have fallen five points behind EK after a run of two draws and a defeat. The Edinburgh club does have two games in hand, though. The battle to avoid being Club 42 appears to be between just Edinburgh City, bottom on 17 points, and Dumbarton, on 18 points, after Elgin City picked up their first league win since November.

🔴 Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack provided Dons fans with an update on their ongoing head coach recruitment process.
He acknowledged it has been a lengthy process, but they are determined to get it right. He also said: “From our final shortlist, most candidates were not available to begin work immediately. Increasingly, coaches want a full pre-season to properly implement their ideas and philosophy, particularly those relocating from abroad.

They bounced back from defeat last weekend to win 1-0 at University of Stirling on Saturday, while Clydebank lost 3-1 away at Celtic B.
The Bankies have dropped to third behind Caledonian Braves and are now eight points behind Bonnyrigg.
