Scotland were relegated to League B after losing 3-0 to Greece in the second leg of the UEFA Nations League Play-off. After winning the first leg 1-0, the visitors cruised to victory at Hampden. - watch the ‘highlights’ here
Scotland Under-21s beat the Republic of Ireland on Friday night in a friendly in Spain. Kilmarnock’s Bobby Wales and Celtic’s Jude Bonnar were on the scoresheet. - watch the highlights here
After drawing with Sweden on Wednesday, it was defeat for Scotland Under-19s in Spain on Saturday. Neil McFarlane’s side lost 4-1 to Poland in a friendly.
Scotland Under-17s beat Romania 2-0 at Broadwood to go top of their UEFA League B group. Celtic’s Hayden Borland and Aberdeen’s Cooper Masson were the goal scorers. Scotland play Liechtenstein in Falkirk on Tuesday at 3pm. - watch the full match here

Falkirk are now 11 points clear at the top of the table following their 2-0 win over Airdrieonians. Ayr United scored a late equaliser at home to Hamilton Academical. Greenock Morton closed the gap on fourth-placed Partick Thistle to five points following their 2-1 win over Queen’s Park. Thistle could only draw 0-0 with Raith Rovers on Friday night. Dumbarton were the first team in the SPFL to be relegated following their 0-0 draw with Queen of the South. It was the second weekend in a row when none of the top three won. Arbroath drew 1-1 away to Kelty Hearts. Cove Rangers and Stenhousemuir drew 0-0. Montrose were the only team to win in League One after beating Annan 3-1. With East Fife losing 5-2 away to Edinburgh City, Peterhead went top of League Two after beating Stirling Albion 2-1. Bonnyrigg Rose went back to the bottom of the table. They lost 3-1 to Clyde and Forfar beat Stranraer away 1-0. Elgin made it back-to-back wins with a 2-1 win away to The Spartans. - View the League Two table here

👋 Scotland will face Denmark in World Cup qualifying following the Danes’ 5-3 aggregate defeat to Portugal in the UEFA Nations League Quarter-Finals. We travel to Copenhagen for the first qualifying group game in September before playing Belarus at a neutral venue three days later.

🥇 Invergordon won the North Caledonian League (Tier 6) on Saturday following their 6-0 win over Thurso. The Highland side is reportedly working towards gaining a Scottish FA license, but they will not be eligible for promotion this season. 🔝 In the Breedon Highland League, Brora Rangers came from one down to beat Clachnacuddin 2-1 away. Brechin City also recorded a 2-1 win at Forres to keep them second on goal difference behind Brora.

🧮 Darvel issued a short statement following their West of Scotland Premier Division 2-1 defeat to Johnstone Burgh.
Darvel were aggrieved that Johnstone Burgh brought on Kyle Lafferty as a sixth substitute. He subsequently won a penalty for the home side which leveled the score at 1-1. The substitution was then reversed but the penalty and goal stood.
🏟️ The Scottish FA were awarded £8.6m of funding from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport to support new and improved pitches, changing rooms and infrastructure in local communities.
The Scottish FA’s Pitching In campaign aims to invest £50m into facilities improvements by 2028, when Scotland becomes a co-host of the UEFA EURO 2028. - Scottish FA website
