🏆 Wick Academy were the biggest winners in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup First Round this weekend. They beat Highland League rivals Rothes 5-0.
Lowland League Clydebank beat East of Scotland Football League side Jeanfield Swifts 4-0. Sauchie Juniors caused an upset by beating Inverurie Loco Works 2-0 away.
Midlands League club Dundee North End beat Highland League side Strathspey Thistle 2-1 after extra time. Nairn County came out on top 2-0 against Berwick Rangers, and Caledonian Braves won by the same score line at Forres in the two Highland League v Lowland League ties.

⚽️ In the English Premier League, John McGinn scored his second goal in two games for Aston Villa yesterday. Villa beat Fulham 3-1 to pick up their first league win of the season.
Aaron Hickey started his first Premier League game in 700 days for Brentford. The Bees beat Manchester United 3-1.
⚽️ George Hirst scored for Ipswich Town in their 2-1 win over Portsmouth in the EFL Championship. Oli McBurnie was on the scoresheet again for Hull City. The Tigers lost 2-1 away at Watford.
🚀 Former Hearts player Jamie Walker scored twice, including this rocket for Grimsby Town in their EFL League Two 7-1 win over Cheltenham.
