THE WEEKEND ROUND UP
➡️ SPFL Premiership
Hibernian are three points ahead of Aberdeen in the race for third. Hibs won 3-1 at home to Dundee United while, Aberdeen lost 1-0 to St Mirren. At the bottom, it is a massive game at McDiarmid Park next Saturday as St Johnstone host Ross County. Both sides occupy the bottom two positions and both lost at the weekend. St Johnstone 2-0 at home to Kilmarnock and Ross County 3-1 to Hearts. Rangers and Celtic drew 1-1 at Ibrox and Motherwell beat Dundee 2-1 away. - View the Premiership table here

Congratulations to Falkirk, who won the title on Friday night. They beat Hamilton Academical 3-1. Livingston’s 1-0 defeat to Partick Thistle meant Thistle secured the last play-off spot. Raith Rovers had beaten Queen’s Park 5-1 but missed out by two points. Ayr United beat Airdrieonians 1-0 away and Greenock Morton finished their season with a 2-0 home win over Dunfermline Athletic. - View the Championship table here

After eight games without a win, Stenhousemuir beat Dumbarton 2-1 to seal the final play-off place. They needed to win and hope Alloa Athletic lost to Kelty Hearts. Their wishes were granted after Alloa lost 2-1. Arboath drew 1-1 with third-placed Queen of the South. Second-placed Cove Rangers beat Annan Athletic 4-2 away. Inverness concluded their eventful season with a 2-0 away win at Montrose. - View the League One table here

Despite a 1-0 win away to Stranraer, Bonnyrigg Rose finished bottom of League Two on goal difference after Forfar Athletic drew 0-0 at home to Stirling Albion. Bonnyrigg’s six-point deduction proved very costly in the end. Peterhead lost 6-1 away to Clyde. Second-placed East Fife beat fourth-placed Elgin City 2-0. It is as you were at the top of the SWPL. Hibernian Women lead Glasgow City by three points and Rangers Women by five with three games to go. Hibs beat Hearts 3-1. Glasgow City beat Celtic by the same score line and Rangers thrashed Motherwell 6-0. - view the SWPL table

⏭️ After losing the first leg 4-1, Brora Rangers took their Highland League v Lowland League Play-Off tie with East Kilbride to within one goal but eventually conceded twice to draw 3-3 on the day. East Kilbride won 7-4 on aggregate and will now face Bonnyrigg Rose over two legs starting on Saturday.

🔝 Musselburgh Athletic won the East of Scotland Premier Division at the weekend.
They will now face Clydebank in a two-legged play-off for a spot in the Lowland League. Lochar Thistle who won the South of Scotland League are not eligible to compete for promotion due to a lack of Scottish FA license.
⚽️ Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour are three games away from Serie A winner’s medals.
McTominay played the full 90 minutes and Gilmour came on as 52nd-minute substitute in their 1-0 win away to Leece. They remain three points ahead of Inter Milan at the top.
⚽️ Lewis Ferguson played the full game for Bologna in their 1-1 draw with Juventus last night. Bologna are currently sitting in seventh in a close battle for the final Champions League and European places. - View the full Serie A table
⚽️ Oli McBurnie scored again in La Liga at the weekend. McBurnie scored Las Palmas’ second in a 3-2 home defeat to Valencia.

🔴 Ross McCrorie was the hero for Bristol City at the weekend. His quick-fire double salvaged a point for The Robins at home to Preston North End to secure a play-off spot. Watch the goals via their Instagram post below.

🗣️ Rangers condemned the fan who threw a Buckfast bottle onto the pitch during yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Celtic.
They also publicly condemned the pre-match tifo displayed in the Copland Road stand saying it had ‘crossed a line’. The tifo displayed Graeme Souness pointing a shotgun with the words ‘Take aim against the rebel scum’. - David Irvine, Glasgow Times
🔴 Hamilton Academical issued a club update on Saturday afternoon. They confirmed they will remain full-time, they are making arrangements for their youth academy with their move to Broadwood and they are in discussions with South Lanarkshire Council about an eventual return to Hamilton.
