🏆 Aberdeen will face Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Cup Quarter-Finals after beating Motherwell 2-0 last night.
The game was not short of incident. Motherwell were reduced to 10 men after just two minutes when Oscar Priestman denied a goal-scoring opportunity. Kevin Nisbet scored the resulting free-kick.
Aberdeen were then down to 10 men themselves, with Dennis Geiger shown a red for a high tackle. Liam Gordon was the third man to be sent off just three minutes after the break. Gordon was also sent off for denying a goal-scoring opportunity.
Graeme Shinnie made the man advantage count to seal the Dons’ place in the next round.
John McGinn was not too enamoured by the decision.
