🗣️ Rangers issued a statement following a UEFA charge for the banner held up at Ibrox in their UEFA Europa League tie with Fenerbahçe and the throwing of objects.
One of the key lines taken from the statement and shared across the media was:
“For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not believe in 2025 that absolutely everyone is welcome to follow Rangers whether at Ibrox or away, then Rangers is not the club for you, and you should disassociate yourself with the club immediately.” - Rangers FC website
📉 Yesterday, 10 major Inverness Caledonian Thistle shareholders met, renewing hope that the club will avoid liquidation.
The three big obstacles to finding a buyer (as outlined in Tuesday’s Scottish Football Kick-Off) were addressed in the meeting.
Following the meeting, Allan McKenzie who invited everyone and chaired the discussion asked BDO, the joint administrators to “expediate” the CVA process to help secure a buyer. - Paul Chalk, The Press & Journal

🏴 Scotland Under-17s might have thought they had scored a 78th-minute winner against North Macedonia in their opening qualifier, but an 83rd-minute equaliser for North Macedonia saw the match finish 2-2. Fletcher Boyd and Taylor Hogarth scored for Scotland.
Scotland faces Romania on Saturday. Kick-off is at 11am and is free to enter at Broadwood. Romania beat Liechtenstein 10-0 earlier in the day.
🏅 Scotland Under-19s drew 1-1 with Sweden in a friendly in Spain yesterday. They have one more friendly against Poland on Saturday.

🥉 The Scottish FA updated their club licensing awards page yesterday, confirming that Bonnyrigg Rose have had its bronze license reinstated. Highland League clubs Brora Rangers and Fraserburgh have also been awarded bronze licenses, making them eligible for promotion to the SPFL.
Additionally, two other Highland League clubs, Brechin City and Banks O'Dee, already hold bronze licenses. In the Lowland League, East Kilbride and Cumbernauld Colts are the other clubs with bronze licenses in tier five.- Scottish FA website
🔝 It is all change at the top of the Breedon Highland League again. Ray McKinnon suffered his first defeat as interim manager of Brechin City, losing 1-0 away to Inverurie. Brora Rangers beat Keith 5-0 to move back to the top with five games to go. - View the Highland League table
