📒 Random Scottish Football Fact #294: Alloa Athletic won promotion to the top flight of Scottish football for only the second time in the 1938-39 season but the season was curtailed after five games due to the Second World War. The leagues were re-organised post-war and Alloa were placed in the second division. They haven't been promoted to the top flight since.
