🔵 Rangers suffered a heavy defeat in Bruges last night, losing 6-0 to Club Brugge in their second leg of their UEFA Champions League Play-Off.
Already 3-1 down from the first leg, Rangers conceded in the fifth minute and were down to 10 men three minutes later when Max Aarons was sent off before the floodgates opened.
Rangers will join Celtic in the UEFA Europa League. The draw is at 12 noon on Friday.
🟢 Hibernian Women conceded a 91st-minute goal to lose 2-1 to Fortuna Hjorring in UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualifying.
Both sides had missed penalties in the opening seven minutes before Hibs went ahead at the start of the second half, thanks to Rachael Boyle. However, two late goals for the Danish side saw them through.
Hibs now face a third-place play-off against hosts Apollon Ladies for a place in the inaugural UEFA Europa Cup.
🟠 Glasgow City were knocked out of UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualifying following a 2-0 defeat to FK Austria Wien. City drop into the UEFA Europa Cup First Qualifying Round - the draw is on Sunday. - Glasgow City website
