🔴 Hamilton Academical Chairman Jock Brown issued an update on the stadium situation and why they are having to move to Broadwood.
The club had looked to buy the company that owns the stadium, however, Hamilton claims the owners would not provide all the information required to complete the purchase.
They also dispute that they owed £500,000 to the stadium owners. - Hamilton Academical website
🔵 Greenock Morton’s main sponsor, Dalrada Technology, has given Morton Club Together (MCT) until Wednesday to begin talks on a renewed partnership. Otherwise, they will withdraw their offer.
As part of a statement that Dalrada provided to the Greenock Telegraph, they had said that Morton had informed MCT that Dalrada had prepared a sponsorship proposal worth 30% more for the 2025/26 season. The club asked for a meeting on the 5th of May to present the proposal.
As far as Dalrada is concerned, the deal had still not been shared with MCT members.
It has been a difficult period for MCT and at the board level at the club after MCT asked two of its three board representatives to step down as club directors last week. According to a statement, Dalrada’s continued involvement is dependent on those directors' continuation on the board. - Christopher Dodds, Greenock Telegraph
🏟️ Rangers have won the William Hill SPFL Premiership Pitch of the Season award.
The SPFL partnered with ProPitch, a pitch consultancy firm, to raise the standards of the natural and hybrid pitches in the Premiership. This deal has been extended for next season to include Championship clubs. - SPFL website

🏅 Falkirk’s Calvin Miller has won the William Hill SPFL Championship Player of the Season award.
