🟢 Brendan Rodgers resigned yesterday, with Celtic eight points behind Hearts in the Premiership.
Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney have been put in interim charge.
Following the late-night announcement, Dermot Desmond stated on the Celtic website, addressed to the fans, saying that Rodgers’ words and actions have been “divisive, misleading, and self-serving”. - Calum Loudon, STV
🔴 Aberdeen have appointed Lutz Pfannenstiel as their new Sporting Director.
The 52-year-old has joined the Dons from St Louis City in the MLS. Before his five years in the United States, he was Sporting Director at Fortuna Düsseldorf.
He is also known for being the first professional footballer to play for a club on every continent, stealing a penguin, spending time in a Singaporean jail, and modelling for Armani. - BBC

💻 The SPFL has agreed a four-year extension to its licensing partnership with Sports Interactive, the studio behind Football Manager.
As part of the announcement, it was revealed what the top 10 most-played Scottish teams in FM24 were. These teams were Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibernian, Dundee United, Motherwell, The Spartans, Falkirk, and Peterhead.
