🏟️ Barclays has bought the naming rights to Hampden Park.
The national stadium will now officially be known as Barclays Hampden after a multi-million-pound deal was agreed. - Scottish FA website
🏟️ Easter Road and Hampden Park have been included in the official UK bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2035.

🏟️ Aberdeen have responded to comments made by the Aberdeen City Council finance convener in regard to their proposed new beachfront stadium. The club have reaffirmed that they are committed to investing tens of millions into the new community stadium.
Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack has offered to give Pittodrie and the surrounding land to the council to secure a proposed 99-year lease on the new stadium.
Finance convener Alex McLellan was quoted in the Press & Journal at the weekend, saying that “if Dave Cormack needs to raise capital to fund the stadium, he should be looking to the private market to sell it himself.” - Aberdeen FC website

🆕 Swedish club Helsingborgs IF have appointed Scotsman Stevie Grieve as their new manager.
