🏆 Highland League club Clachnacuddin were the biggest winners in the first round of KDM Evolution Trophy league-phase matches last night. The Inverness side beat Dundee United B 5-0. Lowland League West club Clydebank also racked up a big win against a B team; the Bankies beat Hibernian B 4-0, while Formartine United beat Dundee B 4-1.
Clyde found themselves down to nine men after just 14 minutes at home to St Mirren B. The young Buddies went on to win 4-1, although it took them until the 53rd minute to open the scoring and Clyde still managed to equalise.
Greg Binnie scored a hat-trick of penalties within nine first-half minutes to put his Berwick Rangers side 3-1 up against Heart of Midlothian B. Hearts would eventually win 4-3.
Other notable scorelines included Peterhead beating Banks o’Dee 5-1 away, Bonnyrigg Rose beating Annan Athletic 1-0, Aberdeen B beating Forfar Athletic 3-0 and Stirling Albion beating Cove Rangers 4-2.
✍️ Sevilla confirmed the signing of Scottish striker Robbie Ure from Swedish league leaders IK Sirius for an initial fee of £5.5m.
