🔵 Rangers progressed to the play-off round in UEFA Champions League Qualifying despite a 2-1 defeat to Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic. Lyall Cameron got Rangers' goal.
Rangers will now face Club Brugge, who beat Red Bull Salzburg 4-3 on aggregate.
🟢 Celtic will face a trip to Kazakhstan to face Kairat Almaty in the UEFA Champions League Play-Off Round, following their shoot-out win over Slovan Bratislava.
🏆 There were plenty of goals in the KDM Evolution Trophy first matchday of the league phase last night.
The highest scorers were Montrose, who beat Dundee B 5-2. Dumbarton, Peterhead, East Fife, and Inverness Caledonian Thistle all scored four in their games.
Dumbarton beat St Mirren B 4-2 and Peterhead beat Aberdeen B by the same scoreline, while East Fife and Inverness won 4-1 against Heart of Midlothian B and Elgin City respectively.
Two B sides managed wins. Celtic B beat Clyde 3-1 away, and Dundee United B beat Stirling Albion 3-0 at Forthbank. - view all the results on the SPFL website
✍️ Lennon Miller has signed for Udinese from Motherwell in a club-record deal for the North Lanarkshire club, reportedly worth £4.5m.
Miller is the latest Scottish men’s midfielder to make the move to Italy, joining Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour at Napoli, Lewis Ferguson at Bologna, and Liam Henderson at Sampdoria. - Andy Coyle, STV
🟠 Dundee United have made their 12th signing of the summer. Danish midfielder Julius Eskesen joins from Eliteserien side FK Haugesund on a permanent transfer. - Dundee United website

✍️ Partick Thistle have signed former Ross County striker Alex Samuel on a one-year contract.

🤝 Livingston and East Fife of League One have entered a co-operation agreement. As part of the partnership, Sam Culbert has moved to the Fifers. - Livingston FC website
🏟️ Transport Scotland has rejected the revised Kingsway junction proposal for the new Dundee stadium at Camperdown Park.
Senior Dundee representatives believed they had been in “positive” talks about revising the ongoing junction issue.

🆚 Rangers have withdrawn their request to postpone their upcoming away match against St Mirren.
The Ibrox club had requested the postponement due to their participation in European Qualifiers. Aberdeen’s match against Dundee United and Hibernian’s match against Falkirk (should they progress) will be postponed on the same weekend.

⚽️ Oli McBurnie scored his first goal for Hull City last night in their EFL Carabao Cup First Round match away to Wrexham. The Tigers went on to lose on penalties after a 3-3 draw.
George Hirst, who scored a penalty for Ipswich Town on Friday night, missed the first penalty in a shoot-out loss against Bromley.
