🏆 PREMIER SPORTS CUP GROUP STAGE
Five clubs beat teams from a higher division last night.
Montrose caused the biggest upset of the night. They beat Dundee United 1-0 thanks to a first-half Graham Webster goal.
East Fife compounded Greenock Morton’s early-season woes with a 2-0 win. Ayr United beat Falkirk 1-0 away. The Bairns missed a late penalty.
League One Clyde beat Championship Airdrieonians 1-0. Edinburgh City beat Alloa Athletic 2-0 at home.
Raith Rovers held Kilmarnock to a 0-0 draw at Rugby Park.
Dundee were the biggest winners last night. They have now scored nine goals in two games after beating Annan Athletic 5-0.
Partick Thistle have gone one better and scored 10 goals in two games. They beat Forfar Athletic 4-0 away.
Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Livingston all won 2-0 away to non-league opposition.

🟢 Hibernian made a double signing yesterday.
Adam Mayor, a 21-year-old wing-back, was signed on a permanent deal from Millwall for an undisclosed fee. - Hibernian website

⚫ Eseosa Sule has joined St Mirren on a three-year deal from West Bromwich Albion. The 20-year-old striker had his loan spell at Motherwell last season cut short by injury after just three games. - St Mirren website
