🔵 Rangers got off to the worst possible start at Ibrox last night. They found themselves two goals down after seven minutes, then 3-0 down after 20 minutes.
Danillo pulled one back in the second half, with Gassama having a goal disallowed for a foul on the goalkeeper. Rangers have it all to do in the second leg in Belgium next week.
⚽️ Linlithgow Rose were the biggest winners in the Parks Motor Group Lowland League last night. The West Lothian club beat Cowdenbeath 5-1 to remain top of the table ahead of Clydebank, who have played a game less. The Bankies beat University of Stirling 2-1 at Holm Park.
The highest-scoring game of the night was Celtic B’s 5-3 win over Gretna 2008. East Stirlingshire have now lost five of their opening six games following their 2-0 loss at Caledonian Braves. - view the Lowland League table
🆕 The latest Scotland Under-19s squad was announced yesterday. Neil MacFarlane’s young Scotland team will be participating in the Slovenia Nations Cup next month.
The matches will serve as preparation for the qualifiers for next summer's European Championships, which get underway in November, with Scotland in a group with England, Lithuania, and Latvia. - Scottish FA website
🏟️ Transport Scotland has now had their say on the new Dundee stadium development saga.
They told The Courier: “For public safety reasons, the applicant has yet to demonstrate their proposed junction meets operational requirements.
