LATEST NEWS
😬 Hearts fell to a heavy 4-0 defeat to Sturm Graz in Austria last night. Realistically, the Jambos are looking at facing Swiss side St Gallen or Benfica in a UEFA Europa League Third Round Qualifier next, unless they do something magical at Tynecastle next week to turn around this Champions League qualifier.
🏆 It was quite the night of action on matchday four of the Premier Sports Group Stage.
St Mirren came from 3-0 down at home to League One East Kilbride to win 4-3. Malik Dijksteel scored the winner in the 90th minute.
Dunfermline Athletic ran out comfortable 5-0 winners over Cove Rangers in the other Group C game. The Pars will need to beat St Mirren by three goals on Saturday to top the group.
If Montrose avoid defeat to The Spartans on Saturday, they will top Group B ahead of Dundee United. Montrose beat Arbroath 2-0 away last night, while Dundee United beat The Spartans 4-0 at Tannadice.
Livingston were the biggest winners on the night. They beat Forfar Athletic 8-0. Stenhousemuir picked up a bonus point in their 2-2 draw with Partick Thistle. The winner of Livingston v Stenny on Saturday will top the group. A draw and Partick Thistle qualify as group winners.
A Ross County win away to Airdrieonians on Saturday will top Group D ahead of Dundee. Those two sides played out a 1-1 draw last night, with the League One club picking up a valuable bonus point.
Fellow Highland side Inverness Caledonian Thistle could potentially join the Staggies in the next round if they beat Morton on Saturday. Caley beat St Johnstone 1-0 at home.
Ayr United will finish top of Group G after Falkirk could only draw away at Alloa Athletic. The Bairns can’t progress beyond the group stage. On-loan 16-year-old Kyle Glasgow got the equaliser for Alloa.
A win for Kilmarnock away to Peterhead will see them top Group H ahead of Raith Rovers after beating Hamilton Academical 1-0.
