🆚 Advantage Ayr United in the first leg of the Premiership Play-Off Quarter-Final against Partick Thistle. The Honest Men won 1-0 at Firhill thanks to a Jamie Murphy goal.
The second leg takes place at Somerset Park on Friday night.
🆚 It was a stalemate at Palmerston as Queen of the South and Cove Rangers drew 0-0. Airdrieonians take a 3-1 lead into the second leg of their play-off semi-final against Stenhousemuir.
Both second legs are on Saturday.
🆚 Annan Athletic’s long trip to Elgin proved fruitful by winning 4-2 in their first-leg play-off semi-final. Edinburgh City edged out East Fife 1-0 in their first leg.
Both second legs are also on Saturday.
💜 Tony Bloom has proposed an investment of £9.86m into Hearts that would see him become a minority shareholder and have a place on the board.
The Foundation of Hearts, which would retain 75.1% of voting rights, will now undertake a consultation period with its 8,000 members, starting yesterday until Monday, May 26th. An in-person event is expected to be held with the FOH board. - Joel Sked, Hearts Standard
⚽️ The SPFL are proposing to reduce the number of Premiership Play-off games.
Proposals put forward by the Competition Working Group would see the quarter-final (third place v fourth place) change to a one-off game, the same as the semi-final (second place v the winner of that tie).

❓ As part of the wider league reconstruction plans, there is a proposal for an eight-team League Two with teams invited to take part via a ‘participation agreement’ rather than league membership.

🏅 Peterhead co-managers Jordon Brown and Ryan Strachan have won a second successive Glen’s League Two Manager of the Month award.

🚪 A Celtic fan caught mocking the Ibrox disaster at Sunday’s game has been sacked from his job.

🎨 A new shrine dedicated to Scott McTominay has appeared on the streets of Naples.
It features the nickname ‘McFratm’ (McBro) that was given to him by teammate Pasquale Mazzocchi.
